I Am a Migrant
Migration forms a huge part of who we are in Britain – as individuals, communities and nations. It goes to the heart of our national stories and, often, our personal stories too.
The 'I Am a Migrant' collection was created for the Migration Museum by designer Roland Williams, who has worked closely with the museum for many years.
The designs playfully explore the connections between the terms 'immigrant' and 'migrant' and how the former is often used interchangeably with the latter, whist also making a powerful statement about the relevance of migration to almost everyone in Britain.
