Anastasia says:
"This piece was created after the pandemic when we developed an ambiguous relationship with Home. When something that represents safety, comfort and protection reveals its shadow side and becomes a confinement, which isolates us from others - we need to redefine and re-establish connection to that.
Also at this time when a lot of people leave their homes, being forced or by choice - integrating into a new place or culture could be a huge challenge, and this work is about carrying your home inside and cherishing that feeling instead of looking for it outside."
